This is a short version of The great Electric bike Comparison. We test several E bikes against a famous hill just outside Melbourne. Scott Dickerson of EVs, helped set up the challenge, along with Steve Brown. Where there are hills and the older rider, E bikes are the answer. But Please, Mr Albanese, get off your saddle and and clear the new regulations as to motor size. Whilst there is no legal problem in Australia with E bikes with 200 watt motors, the plan to increase this limit to 250 watts and bring us into line with Europe, has been paralysed for years. This shows how little concern this supposedly greenish Govt of ours has for bikes as transport. Shame on you, ladies and gentlemen in Govt!
